Christmas checklist

It´s 37 days till Christmas and it´s time to start this year’s Christmas planning.  For many, December is a symbol of stress where you end up using more hours in shopping malls and over the stove, then actually enjoying Christmas with the family. The only family time is every evening when you set the table with your porcelain dinnerware and enjoy a supper of Christmas food. To ease the burden of Christmas stress and prepare yourself, one should start planning early this year. Further under we have provided with an overview of what you should remember:

  • Christmas calendar – The Christmas calendar for the children should be ready till the 1.th of December and should therefore be one of the first things on the list.
  • Christmas presents – A platitude for most, but still an important part of the list.
  • Milk and cookies for Santa – to keep the myth alive you should always prepare a glass with a milk jug and some delicious cookies.
  • Christmas baking – Traditions sais there should be 7 kinds of Christmas cakes and there should therefore be more than enough to work on. A good idea if you don´t have time, is to cooperate with friends, where you bake some sorts each and then trade.
  • Christmas food – You can easily go tired of the Christmas food and should therefore not start to early.
  • Christmas stocking – Nothing is more important on Christmas day to keep the children occupied. So don´t give them boring white plates for Christmas. Find something like a game or puzzle that will have them going for hours – then you really can enjoy your Christmas.
